Welcome to the Academy of R.V. Tucker Study Clubs. This Academy is fundamentally different than other similar organizations in dentistry. The premise is one of continual clinical participation in a study club setting under the guidance of a mentor. The goal is operative excellence with the use of cast and direct gold as restorative materials. If youdecide to join the Academy through participation in a study club,you will embark upon a journey that will enhance your professional and personal life.

 

Welcome message from the president

Happy new year and welcome to the ARVTSC website! As president of this Academy I hope that you will find our website a source for information on gold castings. The Academy of RV Tucker Study Clubs is a unique organization with members from all over the world.

Dr. Tucker realized many years ago that gold as a dental restorative material was superior to anything on the market.
The ability to provide this kind of restoration to a patient comes with training and understanding of the protocol necessary to prepare and cement a gold casting.

An RV Tucker Study Club is a gathering of like-minded dentists learning the art and science of diagnosing and treating dental disease with conservative gold castings. Under the direction of a distinguished mentor, dentists of all ages and experience operate in a clinical setting on their patients. From the simple beginnings of one study club, we are now an Academy spanning the globe with members and mentors from Canada, United States of America, Peru, Italy, Germany and Japan.

Our Academy is managed by dedicated volunteers who give selflessly to ensure that Dr. Tucker's ideals are continued. Thank you to the executive members and to all the mentors who continue to impart knowledge and leadership.
